After having to deal with 8th place in today’s round 13 race, Augusto Farfus came back to take top spot in round 14 at Porto. He was able to get to the front quickly by taking advantage of incidents that took place.

Tarquini, the winner of the earlier race and pole position holder from qualifying, had to cut his day short as Nicola Larini turned into Tarquini’s SEAT, causing them both to hit the tire walls.

Alain Menu once again suffered some bad luck when he and Franz Engstler made contact in the middle of the tight right hand turn, resulting in Menu’s car being pushed into the rail and then stopping in the middle of the track sideways.

In the end, the SEATs dominated 2nd to 5th spot with the lone BMW at the top. 17 drivers finished today, while 5 were forced to retired for their various circumstances. Full results below.
